Poster Presentation
The European user access program nanoscience foundries and fine analysis (NFFA)
Part of:NFFA-Europe
is an open access platform, granted by the EU to carry out projects for multidisciplinary
research at the nano-scale extending from synthesis to nano-characterization to
theory and numerical simulation.
Advanced
infrastructures specialized on growth, nano-lithography, nano-characterization,
theory and simulation and fine-analysis are integrated in a multi-site
combination to develop frontier research on methods for reproducible
nanoscience research and to enable European and international researchers from
diverse disciplines to carry out advanced proposals impacting science and
innovation.
Together with
5 European institutions DESY NanoLab develops an “Advanced Nano-Object Transfer
and Positioning” protocol that permits an easy transfer and re-location of
selected small objects from different nanoscience instruments to nano-focused
X-ray beamlines at the Synchrotrons ESRF, SOLEIL and PETRA III at DESY in
Germany.
Proposals for
a transnational access can be submitted through the NFFA portal (www.nffa.eu/) to apply for all NFFA-Europe
methods and instruments. Industry is especially encouraged to submit a proposal
for free NFFA access.
